Here is a fun and easy way to add some spontaneaity to your storytelling.

 

Take a walk with the child in your life. 

Tell one nonsensical sentence and incorporate an object you see into that sentence.

For instance, "Tony walked past a great big tree. It giggled."

Now the child tells the next line and incorporates an object. 

For instance, "A squirrel sitting on a branch shook a bagful of shooting stars onto Tony."

You get the idea.
