1 box Devil’s Food cake mix plus ingredients listed on back of box

2 cups sour cream, divided

1 large package instant Jell-O chocolate pudding

1 ¾ cup milk

One large container Cool Whip

 

Prepare cake according to package directions, except substitute 1 cup sour cream for the water.

Bake as directed in two 9-inch pans.

Cool completely then cut each cake in half to make 4 layers.

Mix together the pudding, the second cup of sour cream, and the milk.

Spread mixture between layers and on the top.

Then spread Cool Whip over the entire cake.

Yield: 20 servings
