Pastor Fletcher Cooke's jaw dropped. "Professor, do you think the Viking treasure is in the cave?"

            "There is only one way to find out." Cornell opened his case and removed a wooden  handle

            Lucille DuBois gasped. "Oh, Professor, what is that?"

            "That, madam, is my Viking Treasure Locator. I shall use it to find the Viking treasure."

            Cornell screwed a metal rod into the handle. Then he slid a thin light bulb onto the metal rod. At the end of the handle, he snapped on a big fat battery.

            At that moment, the Viking Treasure Locator began to hum.
