Kathleen R. Van Pelt is a freelance illustrator who works mostly in oils and pen and ink mediums. She is originally from Chicago, where she received her Bachelor of Fine Art from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Kathleen formerly lived in Minnesota, where its natural beauty and her “fur associates” (cats, dog, and mouse) inspire her to create “nature fantasy” images.​
