Yield: 16 biscuits
Ingredients:

Flour
-
1 pint milk, scalding hot
-
1 teacup homebrewed yeast (potato is best)
-
½ teaspoonful salt
-
2/3 teaspoons soda
-
2 eggs
-
1 great spoonful melted butter
Directions:
1. Make a batter with flour and milk.
2.When milk-warm, add yeast and salt.
3. Let it rise until very light, then add soda, eggs, and butter.
4. Add flour enough to make it not very stiff, but just so as to mold it.
5. Make it into small round cakes and let it rise 15 minutes.
6. Bake and serve.
